Giordano Bellincampi Leads the Auckland Phil in the concert ‘Romantic Journeys’

Conductors

On November 21, conductor Giordano Bellincampi will lead the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra through a program of ‘Romantic journeys’ at the Auckland Town Hall.

The evening begins with Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien, a vibrant blend of Italian folk tunes and festive charm. Cellist Johannes Moser takes the spotlight in Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme, a delicate homage to Mozart and Haydn. Concluding the concert, Schumann’s Symphony No. 3, ‘Rhenish’, brings a burst of joy inspired by the composer’s travels along the Rhine.
