The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra is one of Europe’s most versatile orchestras. Now you can see them in action online with a concert from an empty Berwaldhallen, conducted by the renowned Tobias Ringborg. The concert features music by Verdi, Bach and Bruch, as well as Erik Larsson’s God in Disguise. Soloists are the world-famous soprano Malin Byström and star violinist Janine Jansen.
It was broadcast on Swedish Radio P2 and SVT2 on April 4th and will remain online for free viewing until October 1st.
You can also enjoy the The Listeners’ Wish concert, featuring, among other things, John Williams’ unforgettable theme from the film Schindler’s List, Bach’s jubilant motet Der Geist hilft and Samuel Barber’s lovely Adagio for strings. The Radio Choir and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra are once again led by Tobias Ringborg.
