Renowned soprano Sae-Kyung Rim is set to captivate audiences in South Korea in three highly anticipated opera events this fall season. The first of these performances will see her in her signature role of Cio Cio San in Puccini’s timeless classic Madama Butterfly at the Seougnam Opera House, on Oct. 12 and Oct. 14.
On Oct. 20 Mrs. Rim will take on the role of Lady Macbeth in a production of Verdi’s Macbeth at the Korea National Opera, under the baton of Sebastian Lang-Lessing.
She will conclude her fall season with a riveting portrayal of Abigail in Verdi’s Nabucco at the National Theater of Korea in Seoul on Nov. 30 and Dec. 2.
