BIOGRAPHY

Born in Civitavecchia, tenor Roberto Aronica studied singing with Carlo Bergonzi. After his debut in Rigoletto at Teatro Municipal de Santiago (Chile), he became a guest of the most important theatres of the world, such as Teatro alla Scala, the Metropolitan Opera of New York, the Opéra de Bastille in Paris, the Royal Opera House in London, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Teatro Liceu in Barcelona, Teatro Real Madrid, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, the Wiener Staatsoper, Munich Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, the San Francisco Opera, the Los Angeles Opera, the Japan Opera Foundation in Tokyo and many more.

He has worked with Semyon Bychkov, James Conlon, Daniele Gatti, Bruno Bartoletti, Zubin Mehta, James Levine, Christian Thielemann, Chung, Michele Mariotti, Renato Palumbo, Antonio Pappano, Riccardo Chailly, Daniel Oren.
