REVIEWS

The Tales of Hoffmann at Norrlandsoperan, Umeå – October 2022

The Tales of Hoffmann at Norrlandsoperan, Umeå – October 2022

Aladdin by Emil Hornemann (CD Recording, 2022)

“Princess Gulnare, who is loved by him and who also loves him, finds in Dénise Beck a protagonist who, with her slender and versatile soprano voice, effortlessly and with pure intonation also scales heights. One can also understand in her voice the transformations she goes through, from the longing and fear of the assigned bridegroom to the moment when she realizes that it is her longed-for partner.”
