Today, Folkoperan Opera house releases a streaming of their acclaimed production Tristan and Isolde, conducted by Chief conductor Marit Strindlund.
You can watch the streaming online on folkoperan.se from Nov. 27th to Nov. 29th.
The production has received raving reviews for it’s musical qualities and staging in Swedish press and television. The project is conceived by Strindlund who has shortened the opera by an hour and commissioned a sensational new orchestra arrangement made by the Flemish composer Annelies van Parys for sinfonietta.
Marit Strindlund is Music Director and Chief conductor of Folkoperan. She has also recently taken up the post as Artistic Director of Jönköping Sinfonietta.
