Celebrated Maestro Leif Segerstam is set to mark his 80th anniversary in a truly remarkable way on March 2nd. The maestro, known for his profound musical legacy, will present a concert that promises to be a unique blend of autobiographical music combined with singing and poetry.

The attendees at the Tempelplatsens kyrka in Helsinki will be treated to the premiere of Maestro Segerstam’s Symphony No. 371. The program will also feature pieces by the legendary Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. The concert not only celebrates Maestro Segerstam’s remarkable career but also offers a glimpse into his personal and artistic journey through the medium of music and poetry.
