Hansung Yoo and Michael Gibson Perform in Turandot w. Pappano on the ROH Tour in Japan

Baritone Hansung Yoo is set to perform in his critically acclaimed role as Ping in Turandot during the Royal Opera House Covent Garden’s tour in Japan, with young tenor Michael Gibson also in the cast in the role of Pong. The performances will take place at Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo on June 23, 26, 29, and July 2.

This tour is particularly significant as it marks Antonio Pappano’s final performances in Japan as Music Director of The Royal Opera before he steps down at the end of the 2023/24 season.
