On Nov. 18th, renowned opera and concert conductor Gregor Bühl conducts this year’s Princess Astrid Music Award Finale at Trondheim. The concert features music by Waxman, Sibelius, and Prokofiev.
Every other year, the Princess Astrid International Music Prize brings the best of the world’s classical music life to Norway. TSO is the organizer and host. This year the competition is being held for the 21st time, and violinists under the age of 31 from all over the world are invited to participate. The three best candidates have now been announced and play with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera at the final concert in Olavshallen, which is also streamed directly to an international audience.
