On February 13, Maestro Giordano Bellincampi will open the Auckland Philharmonia’s season with a performance of Beethoven’s monumental Piano Concerto No. 5, often referred to as the “Emperor” concerto. The evening will begin with a vibrant overture by New Zealand composer Claire Cowan, setting the stage for the powerful program. The concert will also feature Richard Strauss’ Ein Heldenleben.
