Giordano Bellincampi will lead the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra in two exciting concerts in January 2024. The first one is a New Year’s Concert, which will feature a selection of music by Britten, Beethoven, Shostakovich, Dvořák, and others. The event will take place on Jan. 4 and 5 at the Kilden Performing Arts Centre.
The second concert at Kilden, titled ‘Seductive Evening’, will take place on Jan. 11 and showcase the virtuosity and expressiveness of the horn. The soloist will be Simon Breyer, the principal horn of the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, who will perform Richard Strauss’s 2nd Horn Concerto. The concert will also include two symphonic works by Haydn and Strauss.
