On October 28th, an extraordinary musical and theatrical experience unfolds as Maestro Giordano Bellincampi leads the Copenhagen Philharmonic in the sixth installment of their ‘Defining Moments’ series. The performance intertwines Górecki’s Symphony of Sorrowful Songs with poignant narratives from war-torn Ukraine, brought to life by an ensemble of accomplished actors, including Sofie Gråbøl, Morten Hee Andersen, Kirsten Olesen, Solbjørg Højfeldt, and Youssef Wayne Hvidtfeldt. Adding to the artistry, the renowned soprano Henriette Bonde-Hansen graces the stage. This extraordinary fusion of music and theater is directed by Christian Lollike, one of the most influential figures in Danish theatre.
