Bass Insung Sim will make his house debut at Seattle Opera in the role of Sarastro in Mozart’sThe Magic Flute. This striking new-to-Seattle production, conceived by the renowned theater company 1927 and director Barrie Kosky, blends Mozart’s timeless score with eye-popping hand-drawn animation for a whimsical and visually captivating experience. Erik Friedman serves as the revival stage director, bringing fresh energy to this beloved classic.
