We are delighted to welcome Italian baritone Italo Proferisce to the Crescendi Artists roster for general management.
A graduate of the Conservatories of Salerno and Ferrara, and a prize-winner at numerous international competitions, Italo Proferisce has already appeared on major stages including Arena di Verona, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, the Seoul Arts Center, and the Teatro Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo, collaborating with distinguished conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Daniel Oren, Renato Palumbo, and Giampaolo Bisanti, among others.

In the 2024/25 season, his highlights included Schaunard in La bohème at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago and the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, Montano and Araldo in Otello at Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Michonnet in Adriana Lecouvreur at Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, and Ben in Menotti’s The Telephone at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania.
Looking ahead, in 2025/26, he will sing Fiorello/Ufficiale in Il barbiere di Siviglia at Teatro Massimo di Palermo and Angelotti in Tosca at Teatro Principal de Palma, among others.
