Nathanaël Iselin has reached the final round of the German Conducting Award 2023 (GCA). GCA is an international competition for young conductors organized by the German Music Council (Deutscher Musikrat) in partnership with the Cologne Philharmonic Concert Hall (Kölner Philharmonie), the Cologne Opera (Oper Köln), the Gürzenich Orchestra of Cologne (Gürzenich Orchester Köln) and the Symphonic Orchestra of broadcasting station WDR (WDR Sinfonieorchester). For many years, the competition has enjoyed the support of the City of Cologne. It also has West German Broadcasting – WDR 3 as a cultural partner.
The final concert takes place on Oct. 7 (20:00 CET) at the Kölner Philharmonie Hall in Cologne.
