Ewa Strusińska Debuts at The Royal Danish Opera with the Concert “The Mysteries of Desire”

On Aug. 18th the acclaimed conductor Ewa Strusińska makes her debut at Det Kongelige Teater with “a dark and droll opera thriller”, featuring a vast range of music from Wagner and Mozart to Cher and Queen.

The Royal Danish Opera’s Wagner soprano, Ann Petersen, performs her star repertoire. She is joined by mezzo-soprano Elisabeth Jansson (among others).

Concept, video and staging by Krystian Lada. The famous Polish stage director is inspired by the Polish folk theatre tradition, David Lynch’s obscure poetic universe, and RuPaul’s social satirical TV show.
