Zoi Tsokanou Leads the Athens State Orchestra in a Tribute to Mikis Theodorakis at Megaron

Marking 100 years since the birth of legendary Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis, Maestra Zoi Tsokanou will take the podium to lead the Athens State Orchestra in a concert at the Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall on Friday, January 17.

The evening will showcase Theodorakis’ Suite no. 1 for piano and orchestra, performed by renowned virtuoso Cyprien Katsaris, alongside Liszt’s Hungarian Fantasy. The program also includes Lili Boulanger’s graceful D’un Matin de Printemps and Debussy’s symphonic masterpiece La Mer, a centerpiece of French impressionism.
