Maestro Peter Szilvay leads two performances with the Norwegian Air Force Band at this year’s Glogerfestspillene in Kongsberg, Norway.
On Saturday, January 24, Szilvay conducts Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 in the Himmelfest concert, featuring soprano Isa Katharina Gericke.
The following day, Sunday, January 25, he returns for the festival’s finale, conducting Johannes Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem with the Norwegian Air Force Band, Telemark Chamber Orchestra, the Oslo Cathedral Choir, and soloists Beate Mordal and Audun Iversen.
Both events take place in Kongsberg Church as highlights of the 2026 festival program.
