Renowned mezzo-soprano Hanne Fischer will sing at the autumn’s first concert celebrating the Copenhagen Boys Choir’s 100-year anniversary.
The concert, taking place on September 20 at the Københavns Domkirke, coincides with the Nordic Church Music Symposium, which will bring together 600 church musicians from across the Nordic region. In honor of this occasion, the Copenhagen Boys Choir has chosen to perform Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem, op. 9, a favorite among choral singers and organists.
Fischer will be joined by baritone Palle Knudsen, cellist Carl-Oscar Østerlind, and organist Hanne Kuhlmann.
