In the following weeks, baritone Byung Gil Kim is set to showcase his versatile talent in two productions at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. In Benedikt von Peter’s rendition of Verdi’s Aida, Kim will take on the role of Ramfis, captivating audiences on Jan. 28, Feb. 4, 10, and 17. Following this, under the baton of conductor John Fiore, he will step into the character of Ein Steuermann in Ponchielli’s La Gioconda on Feb. 3, 11, and 18.
