Celebrated conductor Ewa Strusińska returns to Stockholm to lead the revival of Romeo and Juliet (ballet) at the Royal Swedish Opera. Set to Sergei Prokofiev’s sweeping score and brought to life through Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s electrifying choreography, this production captures Shakespeare’s timeless love story in all its passion and tragedy.
Having been performed more than 180 times on the Royal Swedish Opera stage, Romeo and Juliet remains one of the company’s most beloved works.
Performances run on May 23, 24, 27, 28, and 30, and continue on June 2, 3, 5, 9, 11, and 12.
