REVIEWS

Opera Gala at the LittleOpera Zamora Festival – Jul. 2024

“Lucía Marín easily led the OSCYL, her main work in this Gala was to make the voices show off, making the most of the orchestra as their accompanying instrument, excelling in the task. In the orchestral numbers, she tried to ensure that the orchestra did not become overwhelmed, and she managed, especially in Manon Lescaut’s Intermezzo, to distill the beauty and poetry that this piece demands.”

– Eustaquio Iribarren, ritmo.es

Die Entführung aus dem Serail at Bilbao Opera – Jan. 2024

The Andalusian conductor Lucía Marín, preceded by solid fame, led the Euskadiko Orkestra with kid gloves from the colorful brief overture. Always tempering the sound volumes adapted to the characteristics of the voices singing on stage, the conductor gave a very well reading of the score.

Beckmesser

La Traviata at Teatro Principal de Palma – Jun. 2023

Lucia Marin’s conducting was energetic and expressive, with fast and contrasting tempi. The Maestra demonstrated great control over the orchestra, achieving a sound full of nuances and vitality, with constant involvement in the most dramatic moments.
