Toshiyuki Kamioka Leads Copenhagen Phil in Mahler’s Symphony No. 1

On Sept. 23rd Toshiyuki Kamioka, the Japanese chief conductor of Copenhagen Phil, takes the audience on an original time travel through three centuries of music. The highlight of the evening is Mahler’s Symphony No.1, a unique masterpiece that depicts the joys and sorrows of human life. The concert also features Rota’s trombone concerto with soloist Brian Santero, and ÓS, a contemporary work by young Icelandic composer Bára Gísladóttir.

The concert takes place at the Conservatory Concert Hall (formerly Radiohuset Concert Hall) in Copenhagen.
